Web Site Information
Clients may use Front Page or FTP to upload files, however, it is NOT
recommended to use FTP on a website that has the Frontpage extensions
installed, as this may damage them.
| WS-FTP
This is a shareware product, available at http://www.tucows.com
Enter your server in the host name area, your UNIX user ID and
your password. Press the OK button, and WS-FTP will attempt to log
you on our server.
|
 |
| Your webpages are served from the
"htdocs" directory, if you have given us your secure
certificate, secure pages maybe uploaded to "htsdocs" Also
of interest maybe the "anon-ftp" directory, where you may
upload files to share. You must have a domain to use this service. |
 |
| In this example, web pages
have been saved in the "my webs" folder in Windows. The
files to be transfered are high-lighted and then the > button is
pressed. Beware that UNIX is case-sensitive, i.e. "A" is
NOT the same as "a", pages that display fine in Windows,
may not be found in UNIX |
